Ahh, the Internet… I spend all day on here, and I get paid to do it too!

I want to be better about archiving the cool websites I have had the opportunity to work on. I will try to update this page more frequently in the future, but for right now I will only be showing the ones I am particularly fond of. Enjoy!

The Repair Company

Hands down, one of my favorite projects to have worked on. Wicked cool designs paired with intriguing functionality, all with a client whose work baffles me (like how I assume the average person views those who can code websites). Like seriously, how do you repair a leather car seat that is torn up, and make it look like it’s brand new?!

Iowa Egg Council

Quite an egg-cellent site to get to work on. I won’t lie, I was pretty egg-cited to get to work on this one. The branding is simple and straightforward, I love the colors, and we got to figure out the best way to display egg recipes. Without a doubt, this site deserves a spot on my “most egg-ceptional sites” list.

Care Initiatives

We did a lot of great development work for this site, but the one portion my mind keeps coming back to is the Locations Page Map. If you only have 1 minute to view this site, that page is a must-see! Shout out to Isaac as well. To code all the functionality for that page, we split the tasks between us. I couldn’t have done it without you, buddy!

Crystal Clear Water

The first e-commerce site I got to see through from beginning to end, developed 100% by me. There’s also a custom page builder in the backend with 8 pre-built sections created solely for this project (this site was developed roughly a year before WordPress introduced the Gutenberg page builder as a plugin, just for reference).

Charlesworth Consulting

This site may not have the most pages or the craziest layouts, but it does show just how far our Base Theme has come. When you boil it down to the basics, you can get a clean and functional site with a pretty quick turnaround time. Plus, I really enjoy working with the people over at Holmes Murphy (the client for this site). Fantastic people to work with, and every time they come to us with a request for new additions to an older site, or just a new site, it’s always with positive attitudes and smiles on their faces.

Waterfront Seafood

I may not be a fan of seafood, but I was definitely a big fan of getting to work on this site! There were quite a few little things that made working on this one a fun challenge: multiple locations to account for, a custom recipes section (including a custom search just for recipes), and unique page layouts with overlapping elements. What more could one dev ask for?
